Adding value

The fact that you CAN use something doesn´t mean you WILL use it. There are zillions of inventions on the scrap-heap because nobody needed it. And probably a few good ideas and products with a potential to improve people´s lives — if they only knew how to use it. These are the most important factors when it comes to usefulness:

User Centred Approach:
It is only when you understand who your end-user is, when you truly realise who you are interacting with — that you can deliver useful and value-adding features. As interaction designers we have a vast experience of researching user behaviour and creating user profiles.

Strategic Insight:
Adding value to the user is usually no problem if you have an unlimited budget. The user profiles and the product features must match the business strategy and revenue models, as well as existing brand strategies and communication platforms. At Ocean we have previous experience from the advertising and branding industry to support this alongside with our interactive media focus.

Conceptualisation:
When we understand the users, the brand and the product — then we conceptualise the product offering by bundling features and visual design in a smart way.
