Since 2004, Ocean has been helping 3 establish its brand image as a progressive operator with fun, quality services. In a large and thorough brand project, Ocean designed icons for all 3 countries in a common style but with local feel, device icons and themes.
Another example is interaction and graphics for Planet 3, a mobile portal that people actually use and find good-looking. We know because we did some heavy research on this. Even 3’s competitors seem to like it because we’ve had to say “No spoofing” when they’ve asked us to create copies.

But that is not all we have done for 3. Here is a selection of other things we have helped them with;
- New flows and graphics for Planet 3 making it obvious what content is free and what is paid.
- Identified opportunities for design improvement through extensive testing of 3Music Store and 3Player in the mobile.
- A broadband interface that makes it dead simple to connect to Internet.
- A voice mail service that people actually can understand. Hooray!
- Design guidelines that made the partner content on Planet 3 go 21st century.
- Design of a range of 3 branded themes targeted to specific devices, to extend the brand all the way to the phone UI.
