IKEA, which pioneered flat-pack design furniture at affordable prices, is now the world’s largest furniture manufacturer. We wanted to design something for another flat-pack (the iPhone) to give the IKEA customers a much more enjoyable shopping experience.

The app’s main purpose and feature is the want list. By adding products to a list it is easy to remember what to buy and locate the products in the store. This way, the app overbridges the gap between finding interesting items in the IKEA catalogue and actually finding and buying them in the physical IKEA store. The app also helps you with inspiration and makes it easy to see how furniture fits into your home.
