2010 was a remarkable year for Ocean Observations. We opened an office in Tokyo, got a number of new, fabulous clients and we grew with more than 50%, keeping and advocating the unique identity and company culture that makes it all possible. We will continue our journey to take on even more new exciting grounds with increasing demands for additional experiences and knowledge. Our new CEO, Jonas Boquist, was previously managing the User Experience consultants at Valtech Sweden where he was responsible for establishing user experience as the key success factor in all the Valtech projects delivered to clients such as Sony Ericsson, Eniro, Karolinska Institute, Handelsbanken as well as many Governmental Agencies and Non Profit Organizations.

- As the new Chairman, I will be responsible for Ocean's vision, and Jonas is brought in to execute it, says founder and previous CEO Sofia Svanteson. Jonas is a true advocate of the importance of a meaningful service experience and fits right in here with the rest of us. And he is also extremely smart and humble, I think he is a wonderful catch, a rare fish, continues Sofia.

I have always loved the results of Ocean and I am looking forward to be part of the team that creates these fantastic experiences. I think this is the time for Ocean and we have the opportunity to work with very interesting clients together with whom we will continue to explore the frontiers of, largely mobile, service experiences, says Jonas Boquist.

Sofia will continue to work full time for Ocean and now be more involved with our clients in our projects, something she has been looking forward to for a long time.
